By creating an account or using Lore Haven ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. The Service is operated by Lore Haven ("we", "us", "our"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Lore Haven provides tools for creating, storing, and delivering personal context documents ("Lore") to AI tools. The Service includes a web dashboard, a desktop client application, and a local MCP server.
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. One person may not maintain more than one free account.
You own your content. Everything you create or upload — your Lore, vault files, journal entries, saved prompts — belongs to you. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content.
You grant us a limited license to store, transmit, and display your content solely to provide the Service to you. This license ends when you delete your content or your account.
We do not use your content to train AI models. Your Lore and vault files are never used for machine learning training, analytics, or any purpose other than delivering the Service to you.

The Service offers free and paid plans. Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. You may cancel at any time; your access continues until the end of the current billing period.
We may change pricing with 30 days' notice. Price changes do not affect your current billing period.
You may export all of your data at any time. We provide tools to download your complete Lore, vault files, and version history in standard formats. Your data is never held hostage.
We strive to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The desktop client and MCP server operate locally on your device and function independently of our cloud services.
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. Upon termination, we will make your data available for export for 30 days, after which it will be permanently deleted.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the Service at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
